Kathleen wanted to bring her Master Bathroom out of the '90s and create a luxurious, spa experience for her home. The layout of the bathroom was, quite frankly, bizarre. The small, pink, stall shower was immediate to the right of the doorway with a tiny sink space next to the shower's left and then another vanity space along an adjoining wall. At the other end of that vanity space, was a built-in surround tub. The space was not being properly utilized, but what could really be done?
Kathleen knew she wanted a walk-in shower, and, while many have been ditching their tubs to make this conversion happen, she did not want to sacrifice a relaxing soak. Our Designer, Thom took on the challenge to make the existing space work. The entire space was gutted and the resulting remodel is simply stunning! We changed the door to a stylish barn door to help the space work. The strange, cornered vanity now flows much better with a full wall, double vanity. Free-standing tubs are on the rise for good reason, they save space!
What once was a dated, crowded, the bathroom is now a gorgeous spa sanctuary! Note the details of the pebble tile beneath the tub and throughout the curbless shower, and the deco tile along the walls. We love bringing the beachy vibes into this southwest home as well. What a transformation!
