Step 1
Initial Consultation & Design Retainer
Our Designer will visit your home and discuss your design goals and needs. We'll spend time asking questions as well as answering any questions you may have. Once we both feel like TraVek is a good fit for your project, we'll collect a design retainer and move forward into the design phase.
Step 2
Layout & Design
With your design retainer in hand, we can move on to planning your layout and general design elements. This is where we'll begin to apply your design goals and needs. From a bathroom redesign to a whole home overhaul, we'll map out what structural changes need to occur to achieve your goals and create the space to include your needs and wants.
Step 3
Design Review & Product Selection
This is many homeowners' favorite part of the remodeling process: choosing every feature and finish with the guidance of our Designer. We'll help guide you through the many decisions and options that suit your taste and budget. You will also have the opportunity to refine your plans to create your perfect design.
Step 4
Contract & Scope Review
Once the final plans are complete, we'll review your contract and scope of work together. Your contract documents can now be written in stone, so to speak, and the construction planning of your home can begin!
Step 5
Pre-Construction
Your project's Production Manager and Designer will visit your home to perform a final and thorough project review in preparation for handing the plans to our production team.
Step 6
Materials & Permits
During this stage, we will order all of your project's materials, from tile and flooring to lumber and plumbing. The labor will be coordinated and a detailed schedule will be developed. We will also obtain any necessary permits to ensure your project progresses free of any legal issues and other hurdles.
Step 7
Construction
On your scheduled start date, your project can begin and your Production Manager will keep you informed as work progresses. Your Production Manager will make routine site visits to ensure the job stays on schedule as planned with minimum disruptions. Upon project completion, your remodeled space will be thoroughly cleaned and we will walk through your project together. Enjoy your beautiful new space!
