This couple wanted to move closer to their family who was beginning to need more assistance.  They decided to downsize and built this Casita on the Mother-In-Law's property for themselves. They wanted her to stay where she was comfortable in the main home. While the square footage was indeed sized down, their kitchen is actually larger than their previous home! We built them a one bedroom with walk in closet and an office space that can double as a guest bedroom. Next up? Their grown children think they need a pool!
