Photo Album: Mesa Kitchen Remodel

The homeowners loved the location of their home, but needed to update the kitchen to be happy staying. They wanted to open up the space as weill as add a bar area in the dining room. With new, StarMark Cabinetry, TraVek closed the soffit space between the ceiling and original cabinetry to utilize the area and create more storage. An island was added after the original breakfast bar countertop was removed to provide counter space while allowing for a more maneuverable kitchen layout!

Mesa Kitchen Flooring

The tile was replaced with this beautiful wood flooring to flow with the rest of the home.

New range hood

Can you spy the drawer style microwave? The original microwave was where the modern, stylish range hood now sits.

Removing the "L" shaped breakfast bar allowed more room for a larger dining space.

Sliding door

TraVek also opened up the wall more for a larger sliding door to allow natural light into the home.

This island has countertop seating built in so as not to lose the breakfast bar option the homeowners had enjoyed in their previous layout.

This used to be a more "L" shaped breakfast bar area. Removing that by adding an island opened up space.
