The casita pictured above was originally a workspace for the homeowner. It had more than ample room for just her work, so she wanted the space to be converted into one that would provide more use. TraVek addressed this by turning the building into a livable space—the team incorporated a kitchenette as well as a bedroom with pocket doors and pony walls to let in more light. The team also expanded the patio doors and completely remodeled the bathroom. TraVek also painted the exterior of the casita with vibrant colors that stand out in the Arizona desert."
