Brita has been with TraVek since 2003, and is the Assistant Controller for TraVek. Her duties include bookkeeping and accounting, payroll, job progress and costing, and analyzing reports to help grow the business. Brita's knowledge of the remodeling industry and construction processes is a tremendous asset to TraVek, its team and its clients.
Brita learned bookkeeping skills hands-on while working for her father at his auto repair shop, but also has an AA Degree in Accounting from Everett Community College in Washington. She has taken various courses since then, including The Professional Bookkeeper Program and Universal Accounting in 2012. She is a Notary Public as well.
Brita loves her job! She is busy from the minute she walks in the door in the morning until the minute she leaves in the afternoon. She does such a variety of tasks, so she is always challenged and never bored.
In her spare time, Brita loves to spend time with her family. She and her husband enjoy hiking and biking with their kids.
